In 1998 under Gas Safety Regulations – it became a legal requirement for any Landlord who supplies gas appliances in tenanted accommodation to get these gas appliances checked and certificated. (Gas Safety Certificate CP12).It is a legal requirement for these inspections to be repeated every twelve months.
